Only 17% of Americans Strongly Believe There Are Multiple ‘Genders,’ Down From 24% Two Years Ago
Virginia | November 7, 2021
Support for transgender issues have been in a sharp decline among the American public for the last three years.
The results of a September poll from the pro-transgender Public Religion Research Institute revealed that only 17 percent of Americans “strongly believe” there are multiple genders — a sharp drop from the 24 percent who believed it in 2019.

“Our landmark civil rights protections will remain in place, and Virginia will remain a place that is open and welcoming to all, no matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, or who you love,” stated Herring… (Excerpts from the Christian Post)

Cross was represented by the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), who argued that he was retaliating against after exercising his rights to free speech. The LCPS defense argued that Cross’ speech at the meeting was disruptive, citing six emails from five families asking that Cross not teach their students. In the decision, Judge James Plowman said the magnitude of parental complaints was minimal given an approximate Leesburg Elementary School size of 400-500 students. Plowman also said that Cross’ lawsuit is likely to succeed based on arguments that his suspension was retaliatory and violated Cross’ First Amendment rights….
