Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Twitter account has been suspended for a week following another violation of the social media platform’s rules, CNN reported Tuesday. The Georgia Republican tweeted Monday night that the Food and Drug Administration “should not approve the covid vaccines.””There are too many reports of infection & spread of #COVID19 among vaccinated people,” Greene tweeted. “These vaccines are failing & do not reduce the spread of the virus & neither do masks. “Vaccine mandates & passports violate individual freedoms.”… (Excerpts from Newsmax)

Twitter Suspends Rep. Greene for 12 Hours, Citing COVID-19 Policy

Twitter on Monday suspended Rep. Marjorie Greene (R-Ga.) for 12 hours, saying that two posts she made related to COVID-19 had violated its misinformation policy.
A Twitter spokesperson said in a media statement that Greene had made two Twitter posts on the day, and that the company was taking action on Greene’s account because her posts had violated Twitter’s “COVID-19 misleading information policy.”
The account was downgraded to “read only mode” for 12 hours.
Both Twitter posts are still available to view on Greene’s account, however, they have been labelled by the tech giant as “misleading.”…

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said Saturday that she won’t back down from promoting “America First” policies as she addressed criticism of a caucus she was helping create.
A document outlining Taylor Greene’s “America First Caucus” was published by a media outlet on Friday, with the document drawing criticism from Democrats and Republicans for phrases such as, “America is a nation with a border, and a culture, strengthened by a common respect for uniquely Anglo-Saxon political traditions.”
Critics said some of the language in the document was hateful and racist.
But Taylor Greene on Saturday in a series of tweets said she did not write or say any of the phrases in the posting….
