FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Statement from Senate President Fann
“Today we are receiving a portion of the draft report from the election audit analysis team. The team expected to have the full draft ready for the Senate today, but unfortunately Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan and two other members of the five-person audit team have tested positive for COVID-19 and are quite sick. In addition to the illnesses, it wasn’t until Thursday that the Senate received the images of the ballot envelopes from Maricopa County and are hoping to have those analyzed as soon as possible to incorporate those results into the final report. The Senate legal team will meet Wednesday to start reviewing the draft report, and when the remainder of the draft is submitted, the Senate team will hold another meeting to continue checking for accuracy, clarity, and proof of documentation of findings. Once that is complete, the final report will be presented to the Senate Judiciary Committee and findings released to the public.”.. (Excerpts from the Gateway Pundit)

Arizona Election Audit Exposes GOP Rifts as 2022 Midterms Loom
Arizona | August 23, 2021
Nine months after the 2020 election and as preparations for next year’s midterm elections get under way, Arizona Republicans are split over whether a review of November’s election result in the state’s most populous county will turn off, or reassure, voters. President Biden won Arizona over former President Donald Trump with a margin of just over 10,000 votes out of more than 3.3 million cast statewide. A recount of a sample of ballots in Maricopa County found no issues. Two firms accredited by the federal U.S. Election Assistance Commission, considered the gold standard for the industry, tested Maricopa’s voting machines and said they passed. As Mr. Trump continued to contest the results of the election and called on his supporters to do the same, Republicans in Arizona’s state Senate commissioned another review led by a Florida-based company called Cyber Ninjas Inc. Cyber Ninjas says it may complete the review this month…. Excerpts from (the Wall Street Journal)

Arizona Senate President Says 2020 Election Audit’s Ballot Count Doesn’t Match Maricopa Tally
Arizona | July 14, 2021
Arizona Senate President Karen Fann on Tuesday said that the 2020 presidential election audit’s ballot count led by Cyber Ninjas differed from the Maricopa County tally, and that the discrepancy prompted the election review team to acquire new machines to recount the ballots.
“They haven’t released a number yet,” Fann, a Republican, said during in an interview with KTAR. “However, we do know that those numbers do not match with Maricopa County at this point.”
Jack Sellers, the chairman of the county’s Board of Supervisors, told The Epoch Times in an emailed statement that he was not surprised by the claim.
“While experienced professionals at the County used the latest certified tabulation technology and established processes to count almost 2.1 million ballots in accordance with Arizona law, the Senate contractors have taken a different approach. They’ve cycled through processes and procedures, chasing conspiracy theories while volunteers with no elections experience tried to accurately count votes as they spun by on turntables. Elections experts from across the country have said this method is flawed and will produce incorrect results,” he said….

Arizona Senate Conducting New Count of Maricopa County Ballots
Arizona | July 11, 2021
The ballots cast in Arizona’s largest county in the 2020 election will be counted for a third time on orders from the state’s Senate.
Nearly 2.1 million ballots submitted in Maricopa County for the presidential contest were tabulated, as normal, by election officials. They were recounted by hand by audit teams hired by the Arizona Senate in a process that was completed late last month.
Now the Senate will do its own recount that will provide a number to compare to those from the county and from the auditors.
“Maricopa County says there’s 2,089,563 ballots. We did the hand count, and they’re finalizing that number, but we just wanted a third number to tie everything together, make sure we have more—the more data points, the better,” former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, the Senate’s audit liaison, told The Epoch Times….

A delegation from Pennsylvania is set on Wednesday to tour the audit taking place in Arizona’s largest county.
The delegation will visit the Arizona Capitol to meet with members of the Arizona Legislature before touring the audit at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix.
“I kind of see this as a fact-finding mission to see what’s happening on the ground in Arizona, how it’s happening and if it’s something that should be done in other states,” Pennsylvania state Rep. Rob Kauffman told The Epoch Times.
Pennsylvania state Sens. Doug Mastriano and Cris Dush were also traveling to the state. All three lawmakers are Republicans…

Maricopa County Lawyer Demands 2020 Auditors Preserve All Documents, May File Lawsuit
Arizona | May 24, 2021
An attorney representing Maricopa County, Arizona, has sent Republican state Senate President Karen Fann a letter demanding the preservation of all documents relating to the county’s 2020 election audit.
Maricopa County attorney Allister Adel sent the notice (pdf) to Fann, saying that some of the auditors involved in the process made potentially false or defamatory allegations.
“It is clear the Arizona Senate and its contractors do not intend to retract false allegations defaming the County and its employees,” Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jack Sellers said in a statement on May 21, in connection with the demand letter sent by Adel. The letter’s language suggested that the county may be readying a lawsuit against Fann and other Republican leaders, as lawyers typically issue litigation holds before filing suits…
