Lord Jesus - We as Virginians and Americans have slapped you in the face. We have failed by telling people what to believe, but failed miserably at helping them understand why. We have become complacent to the sacrifices of hundreds of thousands of your British and American citizens who shed blood for and against the freedoms we have richly enjoyed. What a disgrace we have become! It should not be a wonder to anyone here as to why we are under judgment, and why the enemy has been able to steal, kill and destroy in this nation. because we have fallen far from your grace and glory, because we chose to sleep when you have asked us to stay awake and be vigilant. In my heart, I know that I am as liable as any of my fellow Virginians/Americans for any and all of this. I am just as guilty if not more so. Father, I weep silently and bitterly for the freedoms that I have lost due to my failures. I pray, that as a just God, you will hear me and my fellow Virginians to turn from your anger and forgive us. You promised in 2nd Corinthians 7, 'if those who are called by My name, will seek me and repent of their sin, then I will them and turn in Heaven and restore their land.' Father, just as you said in your parable of the farmer sowing in the field, an enemy has snuck in and sown weeds among the good seed you planted. Please father, forgive us the sin of complacency, forgive us for not seeking and remaining in You so that You would remain in us. Help us to turn from those who we know to be toxic, just as you turned from those who did not want you, and just as you showed us to walk away from those who are hard hearted, and shake the dust off our shoes when we exit from those who do not receive us. If they do not receive us it is NOT our job to force conversion, merely to state the truth as you have done, so let us do. Father, I am sorry for being a disappointment to you, I am sorry for my sin against you. Do not let the punishment for my transgressions fall upon those in my beloved Virginia. Instead, let the mountains sing with joy and praise the Lord, let all the trees cry out Hossanah in the Highest, let the fish and wild life praise Abba, and let your people, my brothers and sisters in Christ, be free from communism, COVID, corruption, temptation and tyranny for You are a God of freedom, not a God of tyranny. Dear God, We pray for the Lord to continue to bring to light what is done in darkness. For protection for our pastor Gary, his family, our pastor assistants. Please Lord keep us under the shadow of your wings, knowing you already won the battle in the cross with the blood of Jesus and your resurrection from the grave and death. I am 66 years old and attended a very large high school in Detroit. Back then in the early seventies the boys got to sign up for advanced math classes and drafting classes first. I got stuck in basic math and accounting classes. I really wanted to take drafting classes and something more in math. This is not fair to take classes away.. I pray. this unfairness would stop. .

Dear LORD, we DESPERATELY need your help in my home state of Virginia! This is the place where Robert Hunt stood on the shores and declared that the Gospel would go forth from these shores to the nation and to the world. Now, I fear we have become a petrie dish for every leftist, godless agenda. Almost every decision made by our leadership is abhorrent, anti-God, anti-family and leans toward communism. Now they want to restrict the ability of children to excel in Math by limiting gifted math programs, while teaching communism and racism in the public schools. Lord, this has got to stop. Please encourage Christians from around our state to get out and vote for conservative, God-fearing candidates in November. Let them raise the support they need. Please wake up those who are unaware of the battle for our state, so they will stand and pray. Lord, let the wicked evil schemes come to NOTHING! Lord let your Spirit send revival to every God-loving church and pastor. Let revival and the true Gospel go forth like a river of life from inner-city churches. Dear Lord and God of all heaven and earth, I bring before You those of our representatives and lawmakers in America that they would be awakened, shaken, heart and mind stirred and opened that they might see the harmful impact that their choices and decisions are having on lives, on the economy, the foundations and morality of this nation. I implore and pray for these and the whole nation to be brought to repentance, to contrition for their choices and rhetoric; that these in assumed power and position and the unequal/unworthy claims they are making will be blocked, blinded and knocked down. If they claim to be of "faith" and they act and speak contrary to Your tenants, Your precepts, Your commands, I pray for a stumbling, a knocking down of their ideologies and desires, their fortunes and self-righteousness and positions. Heaven Father, set Your Spirit to be working in and around all their circumstances to bring them into the recognition and knowledge that only You have power and ultimate control, that they need to be in line and in relationship with you for effectiveness, for guidance and blessing. Lord, please work in hearts and let these impact each other in positive and honorable ways, turning to you and seeking your wisdom, guidance and knowledge. Judgement and vengeance will be yours, Oh God, but I pray for these to be stirred, to see the way of light through Jesus Christ, Your Son and into accepting and choosing Your offer of grace and mercy. Bring them to humility that they might dwell on Your good for all men, all citizens and not on their own inflated egos, ideas and self importance. Thank You, most gracious Father, for your forgiveness of our sin, for your amazing grace and atonement through Jesus, the Christ, the Savior. May Your power and Your will, reign in America and overflow to the world. Bring revival to America, to the White House and to the halls of government and to the nation, to the States, counties, communities, families and Yes, to the "church" we pray. Dear Father God in Heaven, I fear that our state and nation is headed down a slippery sloop from which that may be no return. As was promised in 2 Chronicles 7-14, I pray that the leaders of our state and nation can somehow, find it in their hearts, to humble themselves, pray, seek Your face, and turn from their misguided ways, so that you, God of the Universe, can be heard from heaven and forgive our sins and heal our land. Without repentance there can be no forgiveness.

We know the majority of the citizens are not in favor of the terrible agenda that has been passed by the General Assembly. We repent on behalf of all those who have voted for abortion and transgender issues and other ungodly legislation. Please have mercy and prevent any more harm from being done by the special session being held now. Please raise up godly candidates to run for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and delegates in November, and please activate the church to become involved in electing people who will uphold biblical and constitutional values.
