Trump allies launch social media platform

Allies of former President Donald Trump launched a social media platform described as a free speech alternative to other tech companies. The platform, GETTR, identifies as a “non-bias social network for people all over the world,” according to a listing on Google Play. The app has more than 1,000 downloads. The 45th president’s former spokesman, Jason Miller, spearheaded the launch, and the platform appears to share similarities with Twitter. The former president will reportedly not be joining the website, nor will he have any financial stake in the company…
