Former President Trump Slams Fulton County Recount After New Claims of Irregularities

Former President Donald Trump released a statement on Wednesday slamming the recount of the 2020 election in Fulton County, Georgia — after a lawsuit alleged there was a 60 percent error rate in the hand count audit.
“The news coming out of Georgia is beyond incredible. The hand recount in Fulton County was a total fraud! They stuffed the ballot box—and got caught. We will lose our Country if this is allowed to stand,” Trump said.
VoterGa and Garland Favorito, organizers of the lawsuit asking for an audit of the ballots, alleged that of 1,539 batch files containing 100 mail-in ballots each, 923 contained votes incorrectly reported in the official November 3, 2020 results as compared to the reported audit totals.
After the recount concluded, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced that the statewide audit of Georgia’s presidential election “upheld and reaffirmed” the original outcome from the machine tally.
The group discovered the possible errors after the Georgia General Assembly elected to make all images of the ballots cast available to the public.
In the statement, Trump restated his call for a forensic audit to take place in the state. Many state officials have echoed the call….
