BREAKING: Appeals Court Temporarily Halts Biden’s Vaccine Mandate for Businesses
District of Columbia | November 7, 2021
An appeals court has issued a stay and temporarily halted Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 or more employees.
The ruling in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit came after multiple states’ attorney generals filed lawsuits against the administration.
The court said that they found “grave statutory and constitutional” issues with the mandate.
Solicitor of Labor Seema Nanda told Reuters that the Labor Department was “confident in its legal authority” to issue the rule, which will be enforced by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
“The Occupational Safety and Health Act explicitly gives OSHA the authority to act quickly in an emergency where the agency finds that workers are subjected to a grave danger and a new standard is necessary to protect them,” she said. “We are fully prepared to defend this standard in court.”… (Excerpts from the Gateway Pundit)

Important Travel Information
Virginia | June 29, 2021
As COVID-19 restrictions continue to lift, and the world opens back up, Americans are beginning to travel again. Whether you are travelling this summer, or planning a future vacation, I want to be sure you have the most up to date information on needed international travel documents.
Due to increased demands and delays in processing, people are experiencing longer than usual wait times to obtain their necessary documents. The U.S. State Department currently predicts up to 18 weeks for routine passport service, and up to 12 weeks for expedite service. You are encouraged to apply at least six months before your planned travel. Additionally, you can use several online passport services considering the longer wait times.
Adults with 10-year passports can renew their passports by mail. All children under the age of 16 must apply for a passport in person, and these passports are only valid for 5 years.
Please be sure to check your passport before booking any international travel and visit this website for further information. As always, if you have additional questions, do not hesitate to contact my office at 202-225-4261, or click here.
Sincerely,
Rob

Activists Enraged as Biden Chooses Trump-Approved Immigration Judges
District of Columbia | May 10, 2021
Joe Biden’s administration has hired 17 new immigration judges to help deal with the huge backlog of cases in immigration court. Some of them have no experience with the immigration court, either as prosecutors or defense attorneys. Almost none have represented migrants before. This has enraged immigration activists who want the stink of Trump’s influence on the immigration system removed permanently.
“This is a list I would have expected out of Bill Barr or Jeff Sessions, but they’re not the attorney general anymore. Elections are supposed to have consequences,” said Paul Schmidt, an adjunct professor at Georgetown Law School and former immigration judge…
