College Athlete Sues Over Critical Race Theory, Woke Culture
Oklahoma | June 9, 2021
A spokeswoman for Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, a Republican, expressed support Friday for former University of Oklahoma volleyball player Kylee McLaughlin, who has accused the university of violating her First Amendment rights by excluding her from her volleyball team over her conservative views.
“Governor Stitt fully supports every individual’s right to freedom of speech and thought,” the governor’s communications director, Carly Atchison, told The Daily Caller News Foundation Friday afternoon. “It’s shameful that young people on college campuses, and in today’s world, even K-12 classrooms, who dare dissent from the left’s agenda are being punished.”..

Governor Blocks Liberal Agenda in Schools, Signs Bill Banning Critical Race Theory
Oklahoma | May 9, 2021
Critical race theory will not be part of the curriculum for Oklahoma students, following a new state bill that was signed Friday by Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt.
“Now more than ever, we need policies that bring us together, not rip us apart,” Stitt said in a video statement on Twitter. “And as governor, I firmly believe that not one cent of taxpayer money should be used to define and divide young Oklahomans about their race or sex. That is what this bill upholds for public education.”
House Bill 1775 is designed to block the teaching of critical race theory by banning anyone from teaching that “one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex” and that “an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously.”..

Oklahoma lawmakers aim to bar teaching of critical race theory
Oklahoma | April 22, 2021
Oklahoma state senators have put forward legislation to prohibit certain concepts from being mandatory teaching and training topics in public schools and universities.
State Sen. Shane Jett informed the Daily Wire that the lawmakers did not explicitly state that they were barring “Critical Race Theory” because proponents of that idea would “just change the title and still try to teach those principles that are embedded in critical race theory.”
“What we did instead is identify line by line the types of things being taught to our children in public schools and in the university and prohibited it expressly,” he explained.
Some of the prohibited topics would include the ideas that “one race or sex is inherently superior to another race or sex” or “an individual, by virtue of his or her race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously.”..
