Children Shouldn’t Get COVID-19 Vaccines, Harvard Professor Says
Massachusetts | October 27, 2021
Children should not get vaccinated against the virus that causes COVID-19, according to Harvard University professor of medicine Martin Kulldorff.
“I don’t think children should be vaccinated for COVID. I’m a huge fan of vaccinating children for measles, for mumps, for polio, for rotavirus, and many other diseases, that’s critical. But COVID is not a huge threat to children,” he said on EpochTV’s “American Thought Leaders” program. The full episode can be watched on EpochTV…. (Excerpts from the Epoch Times)

‘Dozens’ of Massachusetts State Troopers Submit Resignations Over Vaccine Mandate
Massachusetts | September 26, 2021
Dozens of Massachusetts State troopers have submitted their resignations ahead of a deadline to comply with the state’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination mandate.
“Many of these troopers are going to be returning to their previous municipal police departments within the state that allow for regular testing and masks,” State Police Association of Massachusetts head Michael Cherven said in a statement. “To date, dozens of troopers have already submitted their resignation paperwork.”
“Throughout COVID, we have been on the front lines protecting the citizens of Massachusetts and beyond,” he added. “Simply put, all we are asking for are the same basic accommodations that countless other departments have provided to their first responders, and to treat a COVID-related illness as a line of duty injury.”
It came as a Massachusetts Superior Court judge rejected the union’s request to delay the vaccine mandate, which goes into effect Oct. 17. Exemptions are granted, under an order issued by the governor’s office, to those seeking religious or medical exemptions to the vaccine….(Excerpts from the Epoch Times)

This College’s New COVID Restrictions Are Too Insane To Be Real
Massachusetts | August 30, 2021
The private liberal arts college, located in Amherst, Massachusetts, announced the tightened public health rules Tuesday in response to concerns about the spread of the Delta variant. The following restrictions will apply from move-in until September 13 (via The Amherst Student):
indoor double-mask mandates, two Covid tests upon arrival, a bi-weekly testing requirement, limits on indoor gathering sizes, off-campus travel restrictions and an elimination of in-person dining services. Upon arrival, students will receive both a PCR test and a rapid antigen test. The college has decided that, anyone who has tested positive for Covid will be put into isolation for 10 days in either designated dorm rooms or at home for students and staff respectively. The college is not offering standard remote learning options this year, but class deans will assist quarantined students so that they will not fall behind on school work. Townhall

States and Companies Won’t Commit to CDC Guidelines Granting More Freedom
District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Virginia | May 14, 2021
While it’s encouraging that the CDC caught up with the science enough to acknowledge that “if you are fully vaccinated, you are protected,” and thus has relaxed mask mandates.
That being said, Reagan acknowledged in her reporting that “Fully vaccinated individuals are still required to abide by local, state, and federal mask-wearing mandates.”
Of course, but if you still wear a mask after you’ve been fully vaccinated, that really should be your only reason for doing so.
It’s frustrating, then, that Thursday night’s most recent live update from the New York Times’ reporting on the CDC’s announcement would be that “C.D.C. Guidance Prompts Caution in Some States.” From the NYT reporting, with added emphasis:
On Thursday, the governors of Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia, and the mayors of New York City and Washington, D.C., all Democrats, said they were taking the new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under advisement before adopting it. In deference to local authorities, the C.D.C. said vaccinated people must continue to abide by existing state, local, or tribal laws and regulations, and follow local rules for businesses and workplaces…
